As you saw on my Resume page, I've been involved with a number of television, theatrical and live dramatic and musical productions. Filmed November 25, 1998 at New Smyrna Beach and the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. Award winning Videography by Jon Rhorer (who is talent & producer of "TV" and first aired it there), Edited and Produced by Arte Tedesco of Monkey Fist Productions Assisted by John Blanche, Siiri Thompson and John Blackwood. Interesting shoot with so many Johns on the set! We had an awesome day, up at 0-dark-thirty to catch the sunrise all the way through till sunset at the top of the lighthouse. My John (yes that's him in the video!) and I got harnessed up to catch the view from the very top...the rest of the crew declined the experience since you had to climb up through the grating on a step ladder...The last scene where we are in the lens room and the sun is setting was a warm one!! Remember the greenhouse effect?? Artie kept saying, "Don't look into the camera, you're face is sweating!" Guess the big budget videos get fans and an elevator to the top! What an awesome experience!! Special thanks to Jim Dunlop and the crew at the lighthouse for treating us so well!!

We are performing a song I wrote with Carlos Mogollen called "You're the One." Worked out real nice 'till my video person gets busted for filming!! Hey it's my tune!!

Hey check out the fringe on that skirt!! Helen Dotts of NC made that for me just the way I asked and it showed up pretty darn good on TV! Right before I was getting ready to sing, they changed the order of appearance and put me on last so I could "Throw it to Commercial." I was backstage trying to think of something clever to say and they said "and here's Connie Blackwood!" So that deer in the headlights look is cause my mind was elsewhere and I forgot a word while looking right at the judges!! Seemed like an eternity, but I came back OK and Charlie is an awsome guy!! He met with each and every one of us backstage before the show to say hello and find out a little about us! Even got paid for this from BMI!! Not bad for one days work.

I play Nurse Wassel!! This young fella did a good job on his acting and what a sneak!! Do you know they took away my coffee breaks cause he got by me into ICU??!!

OK, so when you don't have something that shows you can do an accent, you make it up! I know this is going to come back to haunt me on the tonight Show with Jay Leno!! You know when he says, "Oh we have a clip, let's roll that!"

My first feature film (ok so it's a shortie!). Full Sail has their students write the script, build the set, cast, shoot and edit the film, then it gets shown at graduation. This is about a girl who's trying to save this guy from his drug habits...she should have paid the rent herself...the check thing looks like it was a bad idea! Looking back, it wasn't too bad, but I wish we had elaborated on the script...where is our character development??

We shot this in Windemere, FL at the Mirabella Mansion. Had to be on the set at 5:30 AM and you know what a morning person I am. They had me in costume, makeup and hair before the sun came up! So I was at the coffee table and this guy walks by and says "Beautiful!" I look around and figure there's no one else around, he's talking to me! Then I notice he's got this abrasion on his head...so instead of saying thank you or anything intelligent I said nothing, thinking he's gonna bleed to death!! Come on it was early!! Turns out it was Tarzan himself after the scene where the bullet grazes his temple. Ok, so here's how not to make a good first impression on your co-stars!!

Yeah, that's me in the bright fuschia gown...the camera guys said, "We got some great footage of you!!" Well it must be somewhere on the cutting room floor...cause all you can see is my back and my ear for now!! But I've got the pay stub to prove it!!

He's also the guy who did the award winning videography on Ocean Bird...so he had the honor of airing it for the very first time on his show..."TV".
